SMITTEN
She crys, and doesn't know why. Her song is that of a lonely one. She can't explain why and has gain no closer knowledge to where it will take her. The melody dark, almost eerie. Miserable strings play from melting violins as the composer moves his wand of misery to vocals of her echoing cry from behind bleeding curtains of pain. Figures with no faces line the pews of unreasonable doubt as the climax bursts into what seems like the end. But in all reality, in the tormented soul, its only the end of the beginning of the end.

The strain and pain is rendered beautifully. The feeling of changeand slithering movement with each color, yet the face stays the same and she's haunted. Your narrative reflects your illustration perfectly.

great illustration.
How beautiful! Lovely poetry too.

very cool...great use of colors - very nice! thanks for the message!
The painting somehow reminds me of that poem tiger tiger burning bright. As if the tiger is within this woman.
With reference to the description 'She cries and doesn't know why' I can totally understand. Sometimes I feel that way myself like everything bad in the world is too much to take..
Very insightful. Did someone model for it or did it just come to you like that?
Mike, just checked out your entire blog.... love your work, and love your use of language even more.
Please let me know about your novel... I'm a huge fan already.
And thanks for the comment on my piece... appreciate it!
